How to make a bootable CD
Set up a floppy to boot from with CD support. You must have an 1.44 MB bootable floppy-disk. Create an exact image of this floppy-disk by issuing the command dd if=/dev/fd0 of=boot.img bs=18k boot.img is the filename of your EL Torito boot image.
The format used on bootable CDs is ISO 9660, which means filenames can only be 8 characters long with a 3-character extension.
The first 1.44 (or 2.88 if supported) Mbytes of the CD-ROM contains a floppy-disk image supplied by you. This image is treated like a floppy by the BIOS and booted from.
Make sure "Allow lowercase letters" is turned OFF in the Arson ISO Settings.
Read ALL the documentation for CD-Writing HOWTO if you have any problems.
